Laramie River Ranch offers genuine western hospitality far from the tension of city life. Horseback riding is our specialty but we also have exceptional fly fishing, a unique naturalist program, a full children's program, comfortable accommodations, and excellent food.

Capacity: We comfortably host twenty-five guests each week. Small enough to offer personal attention to everyone, yet large enough to have a good selection of activities for everyone in your family.
Open: LRR opens each year the first Sunday in June and closes the last Sunday in July. The last several weeks are "adults only."
Altitude: The ranch compound sits at 7780 feet above sea level.
Location: Laramie River Ranch is located in north central Colorado just short of the border with Wyoming. The closest town is Laramie, Wyoming.

Rates: We have a variety of rates depending upon the time of year you'd like to visit with discounted rates for kids 6-12, kids 4-5, and kids under four.

Peak season rate for 2012 are $2187 per adult per week.

Minimum Stay: Laramie River ranch offers standard stays of seven nights Sun-Sun, four nights Wed-Sun, and three nights Sun-Wed.
Deposit: A deposit of 30% is required within 10 days of making a reservation. For groups of twelve or more, a 50% deposit is required. The balance is due at the end of your stay.
Payment: We prefer your personal check but gladly accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Transportation: Rates include airport pick up and drop off from Laramie, Wyoming. The ranch is 50 minutes from Laramie and two hours forty-five minutes from Denver.
Travel Agents: LRR gladly works with travel agents to introduce guests to dude ranch vacations.
Lodging: Our log cabins are located on the banks of the Laramie River and LaGarde Creek. Hand hewn logs, private screened porches, and modern accommodations await. The only sound that may interrupt the gurgle of the river would be the sound of horses being wrangled from pastures beyond.

Our historic lodge has seven guest rooms. Remodeled in the late nineties, it sports modern amenities and handicapped accessability. Screened and open porches provide the perfect spot for a morning cup of ranch coffee. Or site in front of the fireplace which dates to the 1890s for a warm and relaxing conversation with new friends.
Kids' Program: Laramie River Ranch has a full children's program from opening day at the beginning of June through mid-August. Kids from zero on up can find a place in our program with age appropriate activities for everyone.

Kids can ride independently starting at age six and generally mainstream with their families and other guests at that point. Our wranglers, naturalist, and other staff are happy to provide supervision while out on their adventures.
Food/Dining: Family style meals with alternatives for vegetarians and kids satisfy even the most hard to please. You'll enjoy getting to know other guests and our crew at meals.

Freshly baked breads, home-made desserts, and hearty western meals await. Special diets are happily accommodated with a bit of advance notice.
